A SENATE RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of ben shelton to the board of agriculture.

Whereas, the provisions of G.S. 106‑2 require that appointees to the Board of Agriculture be confirmed by the North Carolina Senate; and

Whereas, the Governor has submitted to the presiding officer of the Senate the name of his appointee; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Ben Shelton of Iredell County, dairy and cattle representative, to the Board of Agriculture for a term to expire May 1, 2021, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon adoption.
