Senate Bill 2930

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CLAIBORNE

COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AND THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE CLAIBORNE

PORT COMMISSION TO TRANSFER AND CONVEY TO THEATRE PLUS, INC.,

KNOWN AS THE BLUE BARN THEATER, A CERTAIN BUILDING LOCATED IN THE

INDUSTRIAL PARK WITHIN THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Claiborne

County, Mississippi, and the Commissioners of the Claiborne

Port Commission are authorized, in their discretion, to transfer

and convey to Theater Plus, Inc., also known as the Blue Barn

Theater, a certain building located in the industrial park within

the county.

     (2)  In addition to the authority provided in subsection

(1) of this section, the Board of Supervisors of Claiborne

County and Commissioners of the Claiborne County Port Commission

are authorized to do the following for the transference and

conveyance of the building:

          (a)  Use any available funds of the county;

          (b)  Execute any documents; and

          (c)  Do any and all things necessary to carry out the

provisions of this section.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from

and after its passage.
