AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE FEED MY SHEEP PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) annually, out of any available funds, to the Feed My Sheep program for the purpose of providing free, hot, nourishing meals to the hungry, less fortunate and homeless in Gulfport, Mississippi, and surrounding communities.
(2) This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2021.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
