Senate Bill 2827

AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 75-23-1 THROUGH 75-23-27, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH ARE THE UNFAIR CIGARETTE SALES LAW; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Sections 75-23-1, 75-23-3, 75-23-5, 75-23-7, 75-23-9, 75-23-11, 75-23-13, 75-23-15, 75-23-17, 75-23-19, 75-23-21, 75-23-23, 75-23-25 and 75-23-27, Mississippi Code of 1972, which are the Unfair Cigarette Sales Law, are repealed.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2014.
