Senate Bill 2661

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE AUTOMATIC REPEAL DATE FOR THE PROVISIONS OF LAW GOVERNING THE CAUSE OF ACTION CONCERNING BAD FAITH ASSERTIONS OF PATENT INFRINGEMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 5, Chapter 416, Laws of 2015, is amended as follows:

     Section 5.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2015, and shall stand repealed from and after July 1, * * *2018 2023.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
