A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JASON SULLIVAN AND THE MONROE COUNTY VETERANS SERVICES OFFICE FOR THEIR ZEALOUS ADVOCACY FOR VETERANS AND SURVIVORS BENEFITS.

     WHEREAS, Jason Sullivan and the Monroe County Veterans Services Office have zealously advocated for veterans and survivors benefits, resulting in millions of dollars worth of pension and compensation payments being paid from Veterans Affairs to veterans and survivors in Monroe County; and

     WHEREAS, both the Aberdeen office and Amory office serve veterans and survivors with great effort and are staffed by people who truly appreciate veterans and have a heart for service; and

     WHEREAS, Jason Sullivan and the Veterans Services offices also assist veterans and their families with health care services, and aside from monetary benefits the offices aid families with funeral details; and

     WHEREAS, veterans and their survivors sacrifice so much to preserve our freedom and we are greatly indebted to them and applaud all those who serve veterans and their survivors; and

     WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend fine people and institutions in Mississippi that make a profound impact on her veterans and their families and continue to serve a positive, vital role in present and future vitality and sustainability of this great Magnolia State:

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend Jason Sullivan and the Monroe County Veterans Services Office upon their zealous advocacy for veterans and survivors benefits, and express best wishes for its continued success in the future.

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Jason Sullivan, the Monroe County Veterans Services Office and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
