A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING MRS. DONNA DILL FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS TISHOMINGO COUNTY CIRCUIT CLERK UPON HER RETIREMENT.
WHEREAS, after 23 years of dedicated and zealous service to the people of Tishomingo County, Mrs. Donna Dill is retiring from her position as circuit clerk, leaving a lasting legacy that will be remembered for years to come; and
WHEREAS, as a native of Tishomingo County, Mrs. Dill first served her community at Timber Hills Mental Health Services, and as she became an outstanding community leader, her exceptional performance garnered her much admiration and respect and afforded her the opportunity to be elected as Tishomingo County Circuit Clerk in 1996; and
WHEREAS, as a kind-hearted woman of outstanding character, Mrs. Dill is tremendously devoted to her employees and to serving her community, and throughout her stellar career, she has been supported by her loving family, especially her husband of 45 years, Mr. Ricky Dill; and
WHEREAS, as an invaluable asset to her county and the Magnolia State, Mrs. Dill's consistency in performance has never waivered from her first day as circuit clerk until her decision to conclude her prestigious career, and her dedication and commitment to public service inspires all of those around her to strive for excellence each day; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize outstanding Mississippians, especially those such as Mrs. Donna Dill, whose legacy of selflessness, hard work, and overall commitment to the citizens of Tishomingo County has made an indelible mark on all those who have been privileged to know and work with her:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize and commend Mrs. Donna Dill for her outstanding service as Circuit Clerk for Tishomingo County upon her retirement, and extend to her best wishes for continued success in all of her future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Mrs. Donna Dill and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
