House Bill 1640

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO NATCHEZ, INC., FILM NATCHEZ, INC. AND DOWNTOWN NATCHEZ ASSOCIATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Natchez, Mississippi, are authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute funds during fiscal year 2021 to Natchez, Inc., which shall disburse the funds to the following organizations in amounts not to exceed the following:

     Natchez, Inc......................................$100,000.00

     Film Natchez, Inc.................................$ 50,000.00

     Downtown Natchez Association......................$ 50,000.00

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
