House Bill 1263

AN ACT TO REQUIRE THAT COUNTY DEPARTMENTS OF HEALTH AND THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE MENSTRUAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS TO WOMEN AND GIRLS FREE OF CHARGE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The county departments of health and the public schools shall provide menstrual hygiene products to women and girls free of charge.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2023.
