Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Division Of Medicaid Shall Ensure That No Non-opioid Drug Approved By The United States Food And Drug Administration For The Treatment Or Management Of Pain Shall Be Disadvantaged Or Discouraged With Respect To Coverage Relative To Any Opioid Or Narcotic Drug For The Treatment Or Management Of Pain On The Division's Mandatory Preferred Drug List; To Provide Certain Provisions Related To Such Nonopioid Drugs; To Extend The Date Of Repeal Thereon; And For Related Purposes.
