Summary

An Act To Amend Sections 39-11-1, 39-11-3, 39-11-7, 39-11-9, 39-11-11 And 39-11-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Duties, Responsibilities, Authority, Power, Assets, Liabilities, Contractual Rights And Obligations, Property Rights And Employees Of The Mississippi Arts Commission To The Mississippi Development Authority; To Create The Mississippi Arts Advisory Council And Provide For Its Membership And Duties; To Amend Sections 39-27-1, 39-32-1, 39-33-1 And 57-11-19, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; To Repeal Section 39-7-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Authorizes The Mississippi Arts Commission To Employ An Executive Director And Other Officers, Experts And Employees, And Fix Their Salaries; And For Related Purposes.
