Summary

An Act To Amend Section 27-19-54, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize A Distinctive Motor Vehicle License Tag For Residents Of This State Who Are Veterans Of World War Ii; To Authorize The Surviving Spouse Of A Deceased Person Who Was Issued Such A License Tag To Apply For Or Retain Such License Tag For As Long As The Spouse Remains Unmarried; To Exempt Vehicles Owned By Veterans Of World War Ii From All Motor Vehicle Registration Fees And Privilege Taxes; To Amend Section 27-51-41, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Exempt Motor Vehicles Owned By Veterans Of World War Ii From Ad Valorem Taxation; And For Related Purposes.
