Summary

An Act To Amend Section 47-7-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Any Offender Who Has Committed A Capital Offense Shall Be Eligible For Parole After Serving A Certain Period Of His Or Her Sentence And After Completing His Or Her Case Plan; To Bring Forward Section 47-7-3.2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Pertains To The Minimum Time Offenders Convicted Of Violent Crimes Must Serve Before Release, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
