Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-1-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The State Board Of Education To Develop Curricula And Courses Of Study To Promote Vocational And Technical Education, Home Economics And Character Education Objectives For All Middle And High School Students And Students Assigned To An Alternative School Program; To Prescribe The Minimum Components To Be Included In The Curriculum; To Amend Sections 37-13-92, 37-13-151, 37-13-181 And 37-31-61, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; To Amend Section 37-13-153, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require That State Funding For Home Economics Be Included In The Adequate Education Program And Vocational Education Appropriation Bills For The Appropriate Fiscal Year; To Amend Section 37-31-205, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
