Summary

An Act To Authorize The Governing Authorities Of The City Of Jackson, Mississippi, To Impose An Additional Occupancy Tax In The Amount Of One Dollar And Twenty Five Cents Per Day For Each Hotel And Motel Room Rental Within The City Of Jackson; To Provide That The Proceeds Of Such Tax Shall Be For The Maintenance, Upkeep And Grounds Of The Jackson Convention Complex; To Require An Election Be Held On The Question Of Whether The Additional Occupancy Tax May Be Levied; And For Related Purposes.
