Summary
An Act To Amend Section 45-9-101, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide An Exemption From Licensure Requirements To Carry Concealed Weapons To Law Enforcement Officers And Professional Bondsmen Within Or Outside The Jurisdiction Of Respective Employment In The State, Without Regard To Whether Such Individual Is Acting In The Performance And Scope Of His Or Her Official Duties; To Require Any Law Enforcement Officer Or Professional Bondsmen To Present Proof Of Employment For Which The Exemption Applies Upon Request When Outside Of The Jurisdiction Of Employment; And For Related Purposes.
