AN ACT
To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of minority organ donor awareness week in Missouri.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.192, to read as follows:
9.192. The first week in August each year is hereby designated as "Minority Organ Donor Awareness Week" in the state of Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to observe the week with appropriate activities and events to increase public awareness of the need for organ donors and organ donation by all ethnic groups.
