AN ACT
To amend chapter 227, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of a highway.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 227, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 227.344, to read as follows:
227.344. The portion of Interstate Highway 49 in Newton County from the intersection of Highway 60 to the Newton-McDonald County line shall be designated the “James B. Tatum Highway”. The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway with the costs to be paid by private donations.
