1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Grange Kirill Farr of Monticello, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement that is worthy
1.6of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Grange Kirill Farr is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 547 and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community service
1.10project, which involved relandscaping three areas at the main entry for a nonprofit organization, Treehouse,
1.11in Brooklyn Park that included the removal of existing mulch and landscape fabric, tree trimming, weeding,
1.12and installation of new fabric and mulch; and
1.13WHEREAS, he fulfilled all his requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout on March 1, 2017, and
1.14an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 2, 2017; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Grange Kirill Farr of Monticello, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a copy of this
1.18resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the Senate Rules and
1.19Administration Committee, and transmit it to Grange Kirill Farr.
