1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Collin Ryks of Montrose, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement that
1.6is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Collin Ryks is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 312 and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project, which involved making 21 concrete tee boxes for the disc golf course for the City
1.11of Montrose; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Montrose
1.13Community Center; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Collin Ryks of Montrose, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Collin Ryks.
