1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating the Willow River Public School District on its 100 percent
1.3high school graduation rate.
1.4WHEREAS, Minnesota has traditionally led the nation in quality education, renowned for
1.5its continual commitment, progressive methods, and successful results; and
1.6WHEREAS, the state's best schools have shown superiority of organization, leadership,
1.7curriculum instruction, student outcomes, character development, school climate, and
school and
1.8community relationships; and
1.9WHEREAS, the state has set a goal of a 90 percent high school graduation rate by 2020;
1.10and
1.11WHEREAS, the Willow River Public School District now has a 100 percent high school
1.12graduation rate, exceeding the state goal of 90 percent and the state average of 82.7
percent; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14commends the administration, staff, students, and parents at the Willow River Public
School District
1.15for their efforts in attaining a 100 percent high school graduation rate.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.17enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature
and that of the
1.18Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to the board
of the Willow
1.19River Public School District.
