1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Matthew Phillip Pribyl of Maple Lake, Minnesota, for earning the rank
1.3of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Matthew Phillip Pribyl is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has
1.9displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Matthew has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved designing and completing landscaping around several
1.12signs in the city park in Maple Lake, and has fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the
1.13rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at the
1.15American Legion in Maple Lake; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Matthew Phillip Pribyl of Maple Lake, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle
1.18Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Matthew Phillip Pribyl.
