1.1A Senate resolution
1.2relating to the establishment of the Select Committee on Health Care Consumer Access
1.3and Affordability.
1.4BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the State of Minnesota:
1.5Pursuant to Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedure, Sections 639 to 645, the Select
1.6Committee on Health Care Consumer Access and Affordability is established to make findings and
1.7recommendations to the Senate regarding issues affecting consumer access to health care, including,
1.8but not limited to, the cost of health care. The Select Committee has no other authority with respect
1.9to the consideration of bills, and bills may not be referred to the Select Committee. The Subcommittee
1.10on Committees shall appoint seven members of the Senate to the membership of the Select
1.11Committee and shall designate the chair and vice-chair of the Select Committee from its membership.
1.12The Select Committee shall be dissolved upon the adjournment sine die of the 2018 Senate,
1.1390th Session.
