1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Micah Andrew Aanerud of Donnelly, Minnesota, for earning the rank
1.3of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Micah Andrew Aanerud is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 467
1.9and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Micah Andrew Aanerud has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and
1.11has completed a community service project, which involved constructing and installing a new sign,
1.12repainting dugouts, and landscaping at the baseball field in Donnelly, and has fulfilled all other
1.13requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on May 19, 2019; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Micah Andrew Aanerud for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.18copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.19Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Micah Andrew Aanerud.
