1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring Jaeson Fournier on his contributions to West Side Community
1.3Health Services.
1.4WHEREAS, those civic-minded individuals who work tirelessly in their communities perform
1.5an important service deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Jaeson Fournier has worked for West Side Community Health Services for the
1.7past seven years, and has encouraged the board, staff, elected officials, and the community to stand
1.8stronger together so all people have access to good quality health care; and
1.9WHEREAS, Jaeson will be taking his fight for good quality health care for all people to
1.10pursue a challenging new adventure in a federally qualified health center in Austin, Texas; and
1.11WHEREAS, a farewell celebration will be held for Jaeson on May 19, 2017, at the East Side
1.12Family Clinic, which was built and opened over four years ago under Jaeson's leadership; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Jaeson Fournier on his contributions to West Side Community Health Services, and
1.15wishes him well in his future plans.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.17enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.18Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Jaeson Fournier.
