1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to natural resources; appropriating money for inspections and
1.3decontaminations at the city of Spicer public water access site on Green Lake.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. GREEN LAKE AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES INSPECTIONS AND
1.6DECONTAMINATION.
1.7$100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of natural
1.8resources to inspect water-related equipment for the presence of aquatic invasive species
1.9and to decontaminate equipment as needed at the city of Spicer public water access site on
1.10Green Lake in Kandiyohi County. This appropriation is not available until:
1.11(1) the commissioner has determined that a nonstate match of at least $100,000 has
1.12been secured for the purchase of decontamination and related equipment for use at the
1.13site; and
1.14(2) the following public water access sites on Green Lake have been permanently
1.15closed:
1.16(i) the Kandiyohi County Coulier public access;
1.17(ii) the Green Lake Township South Shore public access; and
1.18(iii) the Irving Township Outlet public access.
