1.4chapter 179, section 7, subdivision 26, as amended.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Laws 2008, chapter 179, section 7, subdivision 26, as amended by Laws
1.72009, chapter 7, section 1, is amended to read:

Subd. 26.Regional and Local Park Grants

1,621,000

1.9An appropriation in this subdivision is not
1.10available unless a covenant is placed, or has
1.11been placed, on the land to keep the land as a
1.12public park in perpetuity.
1.13$492,000 is for a grant to Stearns County to
1.14acquire 23 acres of land adjacent to Warner
1.15Lake Park in Stearns County to serve as part
1.16of the Central Minnesota Parks and Trails.
1.17$500,000 is for a grant to Chisago City
1.18to acquire land for the creation of Ojiketa
1.19Regional Park in Chisago County.
1.20$129,000 is for a grant to the city of
1.21Ortonville to construct improvements of
1.22a capital nature at the Minnesota River
1.23Regional Park in the city of Ortonville.
2.1$500,000 is for a grant to the city of Sartell
2.2to acquire up to 68 acres of land located
2.3along the Sauk River near the confluence of
2.4the Mississippi to serve as part of the Central
2.5Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails. This
2.6appropriation, which was reported to the
2.7legislature according to Minnesota Statutes,
2.8section 16A.642, subdivision 1, on January
2.92, 2013, is reauthorized and does not cancel
2.10under the terms of that subdivision. The
2.11bond sale authorization and appropriation of
2.12bond proceeds for this project are available
2.13until December 31, 2016.
2.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
