1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MISSISSIPPI HEADWATERS BOARD.
1.6$130,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $130,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated from
1.7the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the Mississippi
1.8Headwaters Board for up to 50 percent of the cost of implementing the comprehensive
1.9plan for the upper Mississippi within areas under the board's jurisdiction.
