1.3Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 86B.415, subdivision 7.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 86B.415, subdivision 7, is amended to read:
1.6 Subd. 7. Watercraft surcharge. A$5 surcharge is placed on each watercraft licensed
1.7under subdivisions 1 to 5 for control, public awareness, law enforcement, monitoring, and
1.8research of aquatic invasive species such as zebra mussel, purple loosestrife, and Eurasian
1.9water milfoil in public waters and public wetlands. The surcharge is:
1.10(1) $10 for watercraft licensed under subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clause (2);
1.11(2) $20 for watercraft licensed under subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clause (6); and
1.12(3) $25 for all other watercraft.
