1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. BUILDING CODE OPT OUT; MILLE LACS COUNTY.
1.6Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, Mille Lacs County may by ordinance
1.7rescind its adoption of the State Building Code. The county may by ordinance adopt a
1.8municipal building code to be enforced in and administered by the county.
1.9EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
