1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Laws 2003, chapter 127, article 12, section 28, is amended to read:
1.7    Sec. 28. NURSING HOME BONDS AUTHORIZED.
1.8    Itasca County may issue bonds under Minnesota Statutes, sections 376.55 and
1.9376.56 , to finance the construction of a 35-bed nursing home facility to replace an existing
1.1035-bed private facility located in the county. The bonds issued under this section must
1.11may be payable solely from revenues and or may not be general obligations of the county.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.This section is effective the day after
1.13the governing body of Itasca County and its chief clerical officer timely complete their
1.14compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
