1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 123A.442, subdivision 3, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7    Subd. 3. Consolidated districts. A school district that has consolidated with
1.8another school district since July 1, 1980 2009, is eligible for a cooperative facilities
1.9grant in the three fiscal years following the consolidation.
1.10EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2012.
