1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2006, chapter 259, article 10, section 13, subdivision 4, is amended to
1.7read:
1.8 Subd. 4. Expiration. The authority to approve tax increment financing plans to
1.9establish a tax increment financing redevelopment district subject to this section expires
1.10on December 31,2014 2016.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval of the governing body
1.12of the city of Detroit Lakes and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021,
1.13subdivisions 2 and 3.
