1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 245A.02, subdivision 13, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7    Subd. 13. Individual who is related. "Individual who is related" means a spouse, a
1.8parent, a natural or adopted child or stepchild, a stepparent, a stepbrother, a stepsister, a
1.9niece, a nephew, an adoptive parent, a grandparent, a great-grandparent, a sibling, an aunt,
1.10an uncle, a great-aunt, a great-uncle, or a legal guardian.
