1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.4    Section 1. SPECIFIC SERVICE SIGN.
1.5    Notwithstanding any other law or administrative rule or order, the commissioner of
1.6transportation, after being assured of adequate funding from nonstate sources, shall erect a
1.7specific service sign on the east side of marked Trunk Highway 52, near its intersection
1.8with 37th Street NW in Olmsted County. The sign must display the name or business
1.9panel, or both, of a retail establishment on the east side of marked Trunk Highway 52
1.10that began operation before construction of the noise wall on the east side of marked
1.11Trunk Highway 52, and the premises of which is blocked by the noise wall from view
1.12from marked Trunk Highway 52.
