1.2relating to state lands; providing for public sale of certain tax-forfeited land
1.3bordering public waters in Cass County.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
1.6WATERS; CASS COUNTY.
1.7(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1,
1.8Cass County may sell the tax-forfeited land bordering public waters that is described in
1.9paragraph (c).
1.10(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
1.11attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal description to correct errors
1.12and ensure accuracy.
1.13(c) The land to be sold is in Cass County and is described as: Lot 3, Block 1, Jack Pine
1.14Shores in Section 28, Township 140 North, Range 31 West (Parcel ID No. 16-470-0130).
1.15(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would be
1.16best served if the land was returned to private ownership.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
