A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled
"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"
(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 43527c.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 43527c. The department shall do all of the following:
(a) In each area in this state where deer have been diagnosed
with chronic wasting disease, establish locations where individuals
may drop off deer carcasses.
(b) Establish recommendations for the appropriate way for
individuals to dispose of deer carcasses.
(c) Post any recommendations established under subdivision (b)
on the department's website.
