A bill to amend 1846 RS 1, entitled
"Of the statutes,"
by amending section 45 (MCL 554.45).
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 45. The preceding section shall Section 44 does not apply to mortgages, nor to devises or grants any of the following:
(a) A mortgage.
(b) A devise or grant made in trust, or made to executors, a personal representative, or to husband and wife.a spouse.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Joint Resolution _____ or House Joint Resolution T (request no. 02690'19) of the 100th Legislature becomes a part of the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article XII of the state constitution of 1963.
