HOUSE BILL NO. 5899
A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled
"The social welfare act,"
(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 109p.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 109p. The department shall allow an eligible child who resides in the Upper Peninsula who is enrolled in the Healthy Kids Dental program to receive treatment for covered services from a dentist who does not participate in the Healthy Kids Dental program. The department shall pay to the dental service provider only the amount allowed under the Healthy Kids Dental program for the covered service.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5898 (request no. 05655'22) of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.
