A bill to amend 1964 PA 283, entitled

"Weights and measures act,"

by amending section 28a (MCL 290.628a).

Sec. 28a. (1) Except for immediate consumption on the premises where sold, or as 1 of several elements comprising a ready-to-eat meal sold as a unit for consumption elsewhere than on the premises where sold, all meat, meat products, as provided in subsections (3) and (4), all poultry, whole or parts, and all seafood except shellfish, offered or exposed for sale or and sold , as food shall must be offered or exposed for sale and sold by weight.
