HOUSE BILL NO. 5115

A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 43519a.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 43519a. An individual who has successfully had a firearm-related felony conviction set aside under section 3 of the nonviolent firearm-related felony set aside act is not ineligible for a license under this part and is considered not to have been previously convicted for purposes of obtaining a license under this part.

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days after the date it is enacted into law.

Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless House Bill No. 5020 of the 100th Legislature is enacted into law.
