HOUSE BILL No. 5088

     A bill to amend 1974 PA 154, entitled

 

"Michigan occupational safety and health act,"

 

(MCL 408.1001 to 408.1094) by adding section 68.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 68. (1) An employer may designate in writing to the

 

department of licensing and regulatory affairs an individual to

 

receive any notice required to be given by the department of

 

licensing and regulatory affairs to the employer under this act. A

 

designation made under this subsection must include the designated

 

individual's name, mailing address, telephone number, and

 

electronic mailing address.

 

     (2) The department of licensing and regulatory affairs shall

 

maintain a registry of the information provided by employers under


subsection (1) on the department of licensing and regulatory

 

affairs website. The registry must be available to the public at no

 

cost.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
