A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled

"Michigan liquor control code of 1998,"

(MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 516.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 516. The commission may issue to an incorporated or unincorporated nonprofit veterans' organization that is a branch or chapter of a national organization or an organization chartered by the United States Congress, without regard to the quota provisions of section 531, a license to sell alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises.
