A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled
"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"
(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 5534.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 5534. If the department determines that a source has violated this part or a rule promulgated or order or permit issued under this part, the department shall, within 14 days after making its determination, provide written notice to all of the following:
(a) The state senator and representative that represent the senate and house districts in which the source is located.
(b) The county board of commissioners of the county in which the source is located.
(c) The supervisor of the township or the mayor of the city in which the source is located.
