HOUSE BILL No. 4001

 

January 13, 2011, Introduced by Reps. Heise, Barnett, Byrum, Franz, Hammel, LeBlanc, Horn and LaFontaine and referred to the Committee on Tax Policy.

 

     A bill to amend 2007 PA 36, entitled

 

"Michigan business tax act,"

 

by repealing section 281 (MCL 208.1281), as added by 2007 PA 145.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. Section 281 of the Michigan business tax

 

act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1281, is repealed. It is the intent of the

 

legislature that the repeal of section 281 of the Michigan business

 

tax act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1281, is retroactive and is effective

 

immediately after section 281 of the Michigan business tax act,

 

2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1281, took effect on January 1, 2008.
