Summary

Requiring the Pretrial Release Services Program in the Division of Parole and Probation to establish a pretrial resource center; establishing a Pretrial Release Pilot Program in two counties and Baltimore City that utilizes a pretrial safety assessment tool in pretrial release considerations; authorizing a cash bond deposited by a defendant or on behalf of a defendant by an individual other than a surety to be used for specified financial obligations; requiring the Division to report to the Governor and General Assembly; etc.
