Summary

Establishing a Public School Employee of the Year Award in the State Department of Education to provide recognition to public school employees who provide essential services to public schools in the State and contribute to a positive instructional environment; requiring each local school system to nominate an employee for the award each year beginning in the 2019-2020 school year; requiring the Department to convene a panel to select finalists; requiring the Department to issue the award to a certain individual; etc.
