Summary

Requiring a State's Attorney to give notice to the court when seeking to dismiss a charge based on mistaken identity; requiring the automatic expungement of records relating to charges that are dismissed or of which a person is acquitted as a result of mistaken identity; and requiring a custodian of records to advise, within 60 days after the entry of a certain order, the court and the person charged of compliance with an order entered under the Act.
