Summary

Requiring the State Department of Assessments and Taxation, on or before February 1, 2019, and at least every 3 years thereafter, to identify homeowners who may be eligible for but have failed to apply for a certain homestead property tax credit; and requiring the Department to contact each homeowner identified under the Act by mail to inform the homeowner that the homeowner may be eligible for the property tax credit and how to apply for the credit.
