Summary

Providing that if a presiding officer of a House of the General Assembly establishes standing committees for that House, the presiding officer shall appoint each member to at least one standing committee; providing that a member of a standing committee or of a House of the General Assembly is eligible to vote on any legislation or other matter, as specified; prohibiting a member from voting on specified matters; and submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the State for their adoption or rejection.
